For some reason now, (I don't know if it was the same before, but When I am connecting I am getting past the p2p, although when I log in it closes the connection, so I get disconected from walker every 2 minutes (around about),
it is on auto log on, but there is still about 10 seconds where nothing happens,
I also get disconnected after every 2 minutes. I dont know why..... In the TCP-Tunnel it says:
The Client Closed the connection
Closig the Servers socket write end
The Server closed connection
Well, anyone can help me a bit with this?
Another thing is that WPE does not show any packets or anything else when i connected to L2 -- is that normal?

Some how, I cannot get the Loopback put into the Network places, I have it in system manager, but not in network places. So I can give it the IP and Sub net.

Seems like we both have the same problem, It is like we are authorized to connect, but the second we connect we become disconected from something... and then again after a few minutes we become disconected, this just keeps repeating itself.
Does anyone have a fix for this, OR Is this NOT happening to someone. Hopefully it is happening to every so we are all in the same boat and its not just happening to a few of us. So who does not get disconected after a few minutes??
At the moment it is unplayable because when you get disconected you are still aattacking the mob, but when you rejoin you seem to attack a different one, so you have 2 on you.
by the way: since maintenance protocol version is 553 on US/Euro Servers
Edit+Update: This means, you don't need to use WPE any more.... --> WPE searched the outgoing packets for a LoginGameServer packet where the ProtocolVersion is 553 and changed it to 551
nope, since l2walker gets the prot version from the verification server (i think the one in set.ini is just a artefact from older versions now) follow the instructions lowfyr gave, but leave out the WPE proggy

set up loopback device, change hosts file, start tcptunnel and then l2walker ... it should work now without WPE
i get the same errors. but the tcp-tunnel reports different errors every try . like at first theres a general link fail, then i hit login again i getta link succeed but then gameserver fails.. and reapeat.
i use 10.4.7 and have setup all the instructions.
the llopback works fine. but the tunneling just reacts slow as hell .
