alright so, im a noob at all this ****

1. what does "unpacking" mean, or if something is "unpacked"
2. what does "cracked" mean, or if something is "cracked" (from what i understand its what allows you to connect walker with any server...not sure)
3. what do i need and how do i "crack" l2walker so i can use it for any server i want?

if you tell me, ill "crack" walker myself then show you guys, if its not too complicated...

Has anyone tryed using programs in Unix? a Os ment for programming, and such, would it not work a lot better in that OS, and make it simpler, because thats what its used for?

An .exe can be compressed..like a .zip, but it still functions as an .exe, but you cant read anything that the .exe contains because the data is all mixed around and whatnot. You gotta find an unpacker to get the data to be readable, or you can manually unpack it if you know wtf you're doing.

In order to make walker cracked...somebody needs to edit the .exe to turn off the walker verification. Not too many people know how to **** around with compiled executable files with no source code. Even if somebody does get it cracked, then they'd probably want to squeeze money out of it instead of donating it to the helpless community. eg. sauron

With less and less people playing this game...we'll probably just run out of people that are even capable of cracking it.
