AND ws2_32.dll

L2Walker SOUND ALERTS Courtesy of Blackartist

Place the ws2_32.dll into your L2 Walker 10.9.0 Directory Folder...
Then Edit your Host file located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Add the Following Line
192.168.1.12 L2authd.Lineage2.com
No Tcp Tunnel / or Loop Back adapter needed Just Launch L2Walker 10.9.0
and it should Verfiy.
If you want to Play on a Different (NON AMERICAN) Server but (STILL OFFICIAL) Ie: Europe . . . You will need to do the same thing as bellow treating it like a private Server .... using the OFFICIAL Ip address of your Choice in the place of XX.XXX.XXX.XXX . . . . .
Now the tricky Part . . . and some explanation to help you understand whats going on . . .
TO GET THIS TO WORK ON A PRIVATE SERVER!!!! it is a Little more Tricky
You Will need Microsoft Loop Back Adapter, installed and configured to 192.168.1.12 . . . and You will need Tcp Tunnel... Let me say why. . .
ws2_32.dll Effectively acts like Tcp Tunnel . . . but it Redirects by default to the standard USA Lineage 2 Auth Server IP Address... I am not yet capable of editing or creating custom ws2_32.dll's to work on private servers. . . if you know how to edit or create your own ws2_32.dll all you would need to do is to change the Usa Ip inside that dll to the one of your private Server.
If you know how to create / edit ws2_32.dll I would love a guide so that I could learn something new. . . But For now I have devised a work around
which simple works be redirecting the information being sent to USA L2AUth to the Private Server of your Choice. . . .
I hope that was clear... was just a simple explanation of what is going on...
NOW to get L2Walker 10.9.0 to work on a private Server.....
You will again NEED
L2WAlker 10.9.0

AND ws2_32.dll

TCPTUNNEL

Step1: Edit Host File to redirect all information to L2walker and your Private server. . . (this assumes that you are playing on a CT1 L2J server that uses a HOST file to connect rather than a patch to the system folder )
add to host file
192.168.1.12 L2authd.lineage2.com
192.168.1.12 L2testauthd.lineage2.com
216.107.242.199 xx.xx.xxx.xxx
EXPLANATION:
192.168.1.12 L2authd.lineage2.com
192.168.1.12 L2testauthd.lineage2.com
Bellow since the DLL file Directs traffic flow to USA OFFICIAL we need to Redirect all Traffic away from USA OFF to YOUR PRIVATE SERVER's IPxxxx..
216.107.242.199 xx.xx.xxx.xxx <-----Insert Private Servers IP....
Now to set up the Microsoft Loop Back adapter....
Bellow an Excerpt from my previous post on How to do that correctly.
Now It is time to setup the Loop Back adapter to grant it the required Ip Address 192.168.1.12 we do this by first (In vista) right click on the Network tray icon , and clicking "Network Sharing Center" Ounce we are there you click on the right side "manage Network Connections" and look for the Microsoft Loop back adapter. . . right click on it and select properties then select Ipv4 and click properties again and enter in the required fields as shown bellow.
Configuring Loop Back adapter Step 1

Configuring Loop Back adapter Step 2

Configuring Loop Back adapter Step 3

Configuring Loop Back adapter Step 4

Configuring Loop Back adapter Step 5

The Loop Back adapter should Now be Functioning Perfectly. . .
NOW YOU MUST EDIT THE TCPTUNNEL FORWARD.BAT TO FORWARD TO YOUR PRIVATE SERVERS IP.....
Now To Configure TcpTunnel
Open the Included Forward.Bat File and edit it to have Your Private Servers Ip ADDRESS....
tcptunnel --local-port=2106 --remote-host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx--remote-port=2106 --stay-alive
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx = Your Private Servers Ip ADDRESS.
Now Run the forward.bat and Launch L2 Walker....
This Guide Is no where near as clear as my First and I apologize I didn't have much time to prepare it. =/
PS: This should also allow L2Walker IG to WORK... as a byproduct.
IF You want to play without WALKER just run the Forward .bat while playing L2 or edit your host File and put a # symbol in-front of the modifications.
PS: A problem I have had in Other SERVER type operating systems is that IPV6 Causes a conflict in the last option where you select to edit the settings for the loop back adapter i suggest disabling Ipv6 by un-checking it and enabling/disabling the adapter . . . this fixed an issue I had that the device would not become ready . . ..

So just go there and uncheck the one that says internet protocol version 6. . . . if its there.
I hope atleast half the people that read this will manage to get it working on first try . . . anyways GOOD LUCK / Have Fun CHeating on worthless Private Servers XD Like ME LOLZ.
