I would like to script, but not lose my main account, on which I would like to continue playing normally with friends
Now I'm wondering what the options are
- second pc?
- cloud pc (shadow) sounds interesting
or would it be possible via a virtual pc, such as vmware

You'll lose main only if you either script on him or if you receive a HWID ban.
Just don't buy a **** script and you are fine and can even play on main tbh.
My accounts even reach challenger without getting banned.

Usually scripts getting detected soon or later, there is always a risk.
If you really wanna play on main go with a private external. I know some who are UD since years, while internals receive a wave here and there.
