How bannable are referral and smurf accounts?

How bannable are referral and smurf accounts?
I just got friend which apprently had more than 100 referrals (because he had the unique WW skin), he got his skins removed and Riot points taken back. He also got denied by Refer-a-Friend program. About how bad is it to have fake referrals as by Riot? If you have 5 fake refferals you're much safer than you have 50000 fake referrals. But where's the limit, where YOU suggest to put limit on? When does Riot look at your really harshly and analyse your games? When do they start analysing your referrals?

I think if you dont get too much Riot Points by the R-a-F System. Maybe its not a problem if you have only 1- 24 Friends because with 25+ Friends you get very much Riot Points and rare skins and this is not acceptable to riot.

Well, it's not acceptable by Riot to have just 1 fake referral . I'm asking about thread, where they realise or start analysing you.

No i think they dont ban you if you have 1 or 2 Fake referrals. Riot dont care. Its only if you get the RP and the rare skins because everyone is already playing LoL and to Find 50+ new Friends is illogical. Riot needs only to look into their Datebase. They ban all the accounts because they are not dumb. Just my opinion.

I got caught with 100 reffs and got everything removed except mistery gifts(skins i gifted to my friends were also removed), so my theory is you should make as much reffs as you want on a smurf account and give yourself mistery skins

Great logic. Please, delete everything between "so my theory" and "yourself mistery skins". So that if Riot accidentally sees it, they won't apply to it.

WW skin is 25 refs.. I guess 100+ is critical.

I haven't seen it down the link how much for skin. I just talked to him, he told he got about 150 referrals.
