Lol uses xmpp as chat and invite source between players and client. you CAN NOT change "real" stats only your "chat profile". Your account info (wins/tier/elo/etc) =/= "chat profile" even tho the chat profile displays your real stats.


Example: If you have a Windows 7 dvd it wont make it windows 8 only because you write with a pen an 8 on the dvd.

edit:

example 2: if you download a picture from internet, and draw a pen*s on someones face, it wont change the original picture on the internet.

Wenn ich mit Pidgin und LoL eingeloggt bin, dann gehen alle chats nur noch über pidgin, was ja nicht tragisch ist, aber leider kommen die game invites auch nur noch per pidgin. kann man das irgendwie ändern?

no. pidgin does not mirror whats happening in lol. it overlays the connection.
