Exclamation ULB - VMWARE - 100% CPU USAGE ALL THE TIME

Hello everyone!

Well, I tried everything now, I gave each VM only 1 CPU and 1 core, tried giving each VM more or less RAM but nothing's working. My PC is at 100% CPU Usage all the time. Before anyone can help me ofcourse I need to post my specs. So here they are:

i5 2500k @ 3.3 GHz
8096MB DDR3 RAM 1666MHz
SATA 6GB/s (500GB) and SATA 6GB/s (1TB) - A little note here, I use the 500GB one only, cause I dont think putting them on different SATAs will make any difference, please correct me if I'm wrong!
PCS+ HD 7950 - One of the best GPU's at the moment

So what needs to be said also is that I am running 4VM's right now without doing anything else and I am getting 100% CPU usage. I am using usual Windows XP SP3 with updates (NO GAMING EDITION!)
Hope that there's someone who'll be able to help me!
I know I cannot run many more, but 4 VM's on such a PC is not pleasing my imaginations. So please help me!

You have 1 VM on 1 Core = 25 % CPU Usage.
and 4 VMs on 4 Cores...?

My friend has exactly the same cpu and is running 4 VMs with 30% CPU usage. Around that, so there must be a problem!

You can run 2 - 4 VMs on the same Core, if you just want 25 % CPU Usage.

Can you please describe that a little more? I am actually running 4 VMs on the same core, or am I not? I choose 1 CPU 1 Core on each VM!

Do you think that might be some driver issue?

Can you explain me where I can find the setting for this? All I can find is the setting for each VM, where I always choose 1 CPU and 1 Core each VM, I cannot choose 1 Core for a few VM's. Mhm..

EDIT: Oh, thanks dude!

EDIT2: However, now 2 of my cores are having constant 100% core usage. Isn't that bad also?
I am having 50% CPU usage with 4 VM's now. However I'm not sure if this is a good idea and I'd also like to know how many VM's you would use if you had my CPU?

Both helped me, however my PC seems to be very unstable now, everything's crashing and the VM's are not working properly. How many VM's can I use maximum on each core? And how many VM's should I use on my PC as a maximum?

This change alot, with ur win dont need style and shadows its dont need much CPU & RAM! And this is what he need, but i think best would be gamer edition of win xp^^

Best is 2 VM = 1 Core for me, 3 VM = 1 Core is good to but i think in long way that destroy my mainboard :/ btw. use last Core for VM

I dont know why your PC so buggy if one of your Cores runs at maximum...
My Q6600 can handle 2 - 3 VM each Core, your i5 2500k Should run 3 - 4 each.

If you run so many VM at the same Core your bot has to low fps and move the Corser abnormal, but this shouldnt influence your PC.

Maybe try LoLetal its slower but not so buggy with low FPS
