This depends on which game mode and map you are currently playing. The logic is as follows:

Ranked Solo, Ranked 5v5, or Ranked 3v3: Best in their respective queue

Normal or Co-op Summoner's Rift: Best of Ranked Solo or Ranked 5v5

Normal or Co-op Twisted Treeline: Best of Ranked Solo or Ranked 3v3

ARAM, Dominion, or Custom: Best in any queue
