PayPal Question

hey since i wasnt using paypal and just made it couse 1 of my customers asked

i have few questions , since i heard alot about those chargebacks etc

if someone send me the payment as a GIFT he cant take it back as a chargeback?

where can i see if the payment has been sent to me as a gift ? (its when for example i get 15 euro 0 tax 15 euro or how else to check it? )

would appreciate answers to this questions , and few tips how to make me safe since im totally new on paypal

When you see that someone requested money and you can accept/decline them, it's not like a gift.

When you see that your money got increased without clicking nothing, then someone send you money as a gift and he cant get them back.

u must make a secure form of donation via paypal on your webpage, so the donations goes as "Donation" on paypal, not as "Payment"

ye i just got money on the acc without accepting it , it just appears so that mean that it was a gift

so if the money was sent as a gift the customer cant take it back right?

im asking couse if i finish the elo boost i would rather not end up with nothing for the future etc so would like to know how does that work ;]

i've already told u what u need to do.. find a web designer, boost him 2 divisions for a LPboost webpage.

Europebooster, i can make you webpage where the buyer can donate money for you.
I can do that for 10-15 euros probably.

First things first, there's nothing called gift anymore. It's changed to Family payment. Yes, it's still chargebackable or whatever. Anything is chargebackable, if it's sent through creditcard/bank account.

There's usually an extra fee when sent from creditcard, and as family payment they always pay the fee as far as I know.

In your PayPal account's email you get a confirmation of payment, if it's something that needs to be shipped it will usually list an address since PayPal assumes it's not a virtual item/service.

This is one that wasn't sent as family payment which is basically the same as gift

And this is sent as family payment, no addresses, no nothing, just a clean feeless payment.

Haha, ofcourse you can. You can even chargeback something that's already been sent through UPS/FedEx or whatever shipping company you're using. How do you think fraud works?

ye i just received clean payment without needing to accept it or anything like that

so i guess its family payment or simple a gift

just wanted to know if i can still get like fcked with chargebacks or wut

i was only accepting paysafecards cosue after boost i couldnt get chargeback with psc so it was good as for me and same for my customers

but few ppl asked for paypal so i wanted to be sure if its safe for me or not

And btw, about the thing with PSC.
If you don't use it for RP or something other, he could just get rp on his account before you use the money.

Stop telling him stuff that isn't needed, you just want to sell your service.

You can simply just get a donation in your signature or on your thread.

and last question

if someone can do a chargeback from gift or donation whats the point of doing so?

is it same hard to do a chargeback from gift or its harder from a donation or is it equal effort

paypal suck from what i see , even after u finish the boost someoen can just chargeback and fck you up
