Hey,
finally i got the bot working on both, winxp and win7 machines.
But i can only run 6 VMs at the same time, but my aim is to run 12 VMs for refs and i hope u can give me some advice on how to optimate. First of all my configuration:
AMD FX6300 6*3.5(4.1Turbo)GHZ
8GB RAM
120GB SS with host and guest systems on it
AMD HD7790 1GB
Win 7 Prof 64bit Host
DSL 6000downstr./600upstr.
WinXP sp2 guest

Is there any way to run 12 VMs for refs with that system?
What do i have to optimate?
Is it really possible to run winxp vms with 400mb memory?
Do i have to change settings for optimal use of the ssd?
One of the mainprobs seem to be the host system, cause it uses about 2-3gb ram. Do optimized host systems for virtual machines exist?
Anyone else having the problem that after changing the video settings in LOL to very low, most values are set to midle after next start of LoL again?

You may be at max already. You really have a very low amount of ram. When you run vms with 400mb ram you heavily stress the cpu. Your cpu is not very good so I think you will have a hard time. Optimized host systems still use some of the ram to run the host OS.

I have 16GB RAM and hexacore. What is the best option for me to hold most vm's as possible. Low ram like 400mb or more?

guys i got this error when ONE of my 10 bots starts:



i tried rebooting the vm, same error. It's just one of the vm, i don't understand why this error and why it stays even if i reboot the vm...

If i make ref account for example on west but main account is on east will the rewards work through regions?

The more ram you assign per VM, the lower the CPU load. With the new method the load is very spikey (in my opinion) and more ram can help speed up VMs. I generally run around 1gb per VM even with a samsung 840pro ssd.

And I see that the solution for all, it's just don't stress up the machines. You wanna run more vms to do more refs but in the end you do the same refs if the machine it's running fast.

8 cores = 18 vms works without problems for me, running more vms would be slower and give troubles and in the end of day by being slower and giving some restarts I would had the same number of refs done.

I never got stuck on battle training message on the begin, i also have check for that working. I'm not watching the machines 24h but I just see that they do the same ammount of refs all days and they are still running.

Doing changes with bigger delays because you are running more vms than you should makes no sense, other day some guy told me he was running 24 vms or 28 vms on 8 cores and was having troubles.. ofc he was having troubles...

This weekend I will work hard on the BOT doing some changes to improve the COOP vs AI mainly.

I should charge for this advice, but here is a great way to check your ref output and determine if you have too many bots. Get the summoner name of your botmaster. Go to lolskill or lolking and look at time between matches. If all your matches are 9min - 11min, you are running efficiently. If they are more, you need to reduce your vms. There will be a match every now and then that is 13-15 mins when a bot or two had to buy xp and/or start a new account and log in.

For me, the amd 8350 even with a good overclock takes too long to load new matches to keep up with the 4770k over-clocked. The 8350 has twice the cores and with the old method I got more VMs from it than the intel. But with new method it takes too long to load.

I run 9 - 10 min matches (NOT match time but match end to match end. Matches are always 7min) on my 3770k w/6 vms (I game on this on so I dont do more on it).

I run 10-11 min matches on 4770k with 32gb ram, 840 pro and 24vms (three 4x4).

I run 12-13 min matches on 8350 with 32gb and 840 pro with 24vms ( three 4x4). The amd doesnt load near as fast as the 3770k or 4770k and thus reducing bots has little impact on time between matches (imo)

You get same xp for 3x3 as you do 4x4 or 5x5 but load times are shorter for matches with less human players (in my opinion).

I restart each machine every 24hrs. Match time gets too long if I dont restart, plus It reduces error rate.

Just looked at progress and in one month only 400 accounts were finished on 24 vms... that's over 24 hours per account... is this normal?

I guess you never look to your PC.... lolol..

I guess your PC its running like crap.

18 vms does around 50 refs2 per day if performance its good. that is 1500 refs2 per month.

yes mate you can do your refs accounts on other servers doesn't matter they will count to your main account.

yes, 6,8 or 10. I recommend 6.

I would recommend you to delete this vm and create a new one.

if you have others running.. Maybe you deleted the compleated accs.txt or you are trying to run an acc that is already on this list.
