Is buying unranked accounts still viable?

So i've bought a unranked 20k ip account in december and it got banned but since i make decent profit out of them i would like to know if you can buy them again without having any fear of it getting banned?

I've bought a botted account, got it to Plat 3 and gifted it to a friend of mine. It got banned a few months later. I personally wouldn't buy botted accounts from my experience anyway.
