Using the command prompt is easier but either method works fine as long as it says "disconnected from pvp chat" that way you can keep customers accounts safer avoiding nosey friends from noticing you win all the games.

The secondary option works like this (If you have mac or something this is good alternative)

RADS > projects > lol_air_client > releases > 0.0.1.193 (Number might be diff for you but click that) > deploy > open lol folder, might be called lol.properties. Open it using wordpad or something for text.

The 2nd row down you will see "xmpp_server_url=" this is the chat server URL so you want to remove it. Change it so it says anything like this.

xmpp_server_url=NoThanks

Make sure you click "save" then close it, open league and your good.

Yup it still works. You won't be able to accept friend requests but you can still type someone name into the invite box to invite them to a game and they can invite you the same way, gl

I think this doesn't work for lol ph. I try all the instructions. The chat is offline but i can't also play game because i can't join queque. Maybe I'm doing something wrong??

Sorry but what is lol ph? I'll try to help if i can. I know this doesn't work for Mac but everything else should be fine

Hey, sure here you go:

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="LoLNoChat" dir=out remoteip=185.40.64.69 protocol=TCP action=block
GOTO start

:OFF
netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name="LoLNoChat"
GOTO start

you just have to copy it into a text file and rename it to *.bat
the batch file needs admin rights to run properly, otherwise you will get an error.
to disconnect from the chat you have to press 1. if you want to undo the changes in the firewall and reconnect to the chat then press 2. it is as simple as that

feel free to modify the code to your needs... hope it helps. have fun
