Working offline

Is there a way to set up a last chaos server on a computer to run across a network or where one person can play it on that comp? This may be out there and I might have missed it. Wont be the first time I have been called blind.

You need to setup a Server on your local computer, than you can play it offline.

If you don't have a machine dedicated to run Linux then the easiest route would be to use VirtualBox and install a CentOS guest. As long as you configure the NAT and server files to bind to the machines local IP you should be able to connect from anywhere else within the network.

There's also the option of using partially defective files from 2008 or the latest ones, which cannnot be shared here though.
