also kurz und knapp, so schnell wird kein emulator das licht der welt erblicken?!
mit dem man solo ep2 spielen kann

This will throw me a send error.
But i guess when all the packets are correct, 0x09 0x06 is a confirmation package to tell the client u have all info, go ingame. I will look into it better when i get home from work tonight.

Zusammengefasst versucht wizatek sich an einem LastChaos EP2 Emulator, wobei die Charackterauswahl- und erstellung und der Loginserver von der Basis her schon Funktionieren.
Momentan will er es schaffen, das Spiel mit einem Charackter zu Betreten.
Da er damit ein Problem hatte, hat er mit diesen Thread um hilfe gebeten.
Das hier ist somit kein Release, sondern mehr eine Diskussion zum Emulator, von der diejenigen, die nicht Helfen können am besten die Finger lassen sollten.

It seems to work only with a Rogue, otherwise there is a Sendlog :/
Inventar is btw loadet correctly, but all the other Datas are Missing Ingame ^^

There must be something wrong with Pack1 normally just that packet should already bring me ingame.

If i play with 0x09, 0x06 and change it to lets say 0x09, 0x01 then it shows ' as name instead of 1 But if i add more bytes to it then it doesn't do a thing.

Ok figured it out.


The length of the package was wrong. after the 0x09 packet came 2 more bytes.
I automaticly assumed that Olly told me the size of the data.
First i tought it had something to do with the Green part. It wasn't.
Red seemed more obvious so i wend for that, and kepth building on that assuming it was correct. Until i just sniffed the package with WpePro and counted the bytes and got aware of the fact that neither green or red show me the packet size :P

Eventually the bytes i selected is the complete packet.

0018F1C4 - 00 00 00 40 = 64

64 = Size of Data, without the 2 key bytes, so +2
PacketSize = 66

0018F1C8 + 64 = 0018F208
0018F1C8 + 66 = 0018F20A

That explanation helped me SO MUCH further.
I was thinking all the time **** why isnt this working, all the packets seemed right.
And i couldn't understand why olly told me stuff i couldn't work with. those key bytes.. i totally forgot about them. Thanks Falo
