so you want to play the smartass?
you can overflow 23 exactly the same way you overflow 32 Bit.

if your point is that there is no typical datatype with 23 bits, well there is also no datatyp with 4 bits (0.5 Byte)

Jo, I just mean that there's usually no way to overflow 23 bits cause there's no datatype which has exactly 23 bit.
