Why do you want to be moderator?
I wish to be a moderator, not to just think 'omg im a mod', i want to be able to enforce the forum rules more firmly, so that people don't ignore what they should/shouldn't do, and carry on posting spam/flaming.

How much experience do you have with the issue of the forum you apply for ?
I noticed that at the start of when PSRO servers came out (i was here when MHTC was started), there were a few threads asking for help and such, but it wasnt over-crowded, unlike now. Nowadays, I browse the psro section and constantly find spam posts and many viruses posted, but without a mod online to be able to close/delete the posts or thread, which is becoming a serious problem.

Do you have enough time to visit the board about every two days and to put enough effort into the job?
Yes, i definitely have enough as I am on the computer (after school) for 5-7hrs a day (addicted much? ). Also, the fact that I like to help people, while also enforcing the rules, tempts me to come and check for any rule-breakers or people in need of help.

Did you regularly take part in the section before you posted your application?
Yes, definitely! Although it may not *seem* that way due to my 200-ish post count, I generally try to make any post I do, to be as constructive as possible, that way im not just posting "yes", "lol", etc.

Are you able to handle questions and questioners of which you think that they are very stupid?
Of course, but only if the person who is asking the question isn't joking around. If they are, I would probably just ignore the question as I am not a big fan of trolls/mimi's/lolcat pictures(if you know what i mean).

Can you act appropriate/mature with other human beings?
Absolutely. When im serious about something (which i am serious about this), I will always act mature, as I think that sinking to the level where people act like little children (when they are infact 20+), is quite sad, and in a way, pathetic.

Did you ever operate as a moderator before?
If you are meaning in other forums, then yes. 3 vBulletin forums (warez, but I gave up after the owners get DDoS'ed, seeing as i don't want it to happen to me :P), and 1 IPB forum (a game cheating website, which is also gone due to insufficient funds for hosting). I always act very mature when I am put in the position of being a higher rank, which is what anyone in that position should strive to achieve.

Extra info:
As i stated before, I am really fed up with all the spamming, flaming, single picture-posts (posting a pic saying something like "tits or gtfo", which are immature and are spam), and infected files that people have been posting lately. I am not saying the current mods are doing a bad job, because they aren't, but I feel the forum needs another mod that is actually awake/online when these annoyances appear and start 'trolling' and such.

Amount of time im on: Well, i don't constantly have the psro section on auto-refresh, but i check it quite often, usually to see if there is anything interesting posted, and i also find and report a lot of spammers (and i mean a LOT).

That guard app is a re-post, i just forgot to post it the other day so i posted it today.

Also, I like to keep my options open, so im trying for both (if i get either, it would be nice), so please don't think I am just spam-posting or something, because im not, i just want options, and i believe this is the best way.

Everyone has their opinions though, so thanks for your input.

Well it's better to start as guardian first, get some adequate number of reports, show you are active enough, get some posts/thanks and then apply for moderator position.

Applying for both positions isn't that good idea, but it's up to you of course.

As i said before, i like to keep my options open.

Also, i would like to be a guardian again (was previously a guardian, but went inactive due to exams), but it seems firstly that me, being 'only recently active', and secondly, i feel that my current app, was unfairly decided on. It was denied, due to one silly post I made when i wasnt having a good day. I feel that my reports that ive been making werent put into account at all, which slightly annoys me.

I know that alot of people would vouch for me (in my reporting sense), to become a guardian, and yes, i realise my thanks/post count are not very high, because i do not ask for thanks, and I tend to report people's rule-breaking posts, rather than posting back saying "#close please" or "#reported, please close", etc.

So it would be nice if John Dread did reconsider my guard app, as it gets quite frustrating after re-posting it twice, just to be caught out by a few extremely minor things.

So, i might as well have my thread close here, as I can see there are still things that must be worked on, before I really want to become a mod.

I appreciate all the criticism, whether constructive or not, its all appreciated.
