Allgemeine Bewerbung als Moderator
Dear administration and community,
I am pleased to submit my application to become a forum moderator. My name is Pasi, and I bring extensive experience in forum management and moderation.
Preface:
I am 20 years young and just starting my education as an application developer. I spend my free time either with friends, in the gym or at the PC. Due to my interest in computer science, which started at a young age, I have been programming in various languages for a good 4.5-5 years.
After some back and forth, I've decided to write this application, and am glad you've read this far without closing the thread bored
.Experience and Background:
Having previously worked as a moderator on various RP servers as well as an administrator of my own Minecraft server, I have gained valuable insight into the world of moderation and community administration. During this time, I was not only responsible for forum moderation, but also actively ensured that all content complied with applicable rules and guidelines. This experience has greatly strengthened my skills in dealing with user concerns, rule violations, and fostering a positive community dynamic.
Why I am the ideal candidate:
Although I do not quite meet the required minimum of 150 posts on the forum, at the time of writing. I am convinced that my broad experience and commitment to the advancement of the community make me a valuable member of the moderation team. My initiative so far, such as, offering my assistance, in a "modernization" of the current Discord bot (e.g. slash-commands), shows my willingness to proactively contribute to the community. This is also shown by the fact that I already use the 'Report' button activly when I notice rule violations, in order to report them to the moderation team immediately.
Why I don't apply for specific forums:
A valid question might be why I am not applying for specific forums within this community. The answer to this lies in the fact that I believe my moderation experience and skills can cover a broader range of topics. My goal is to provide positive and supportive moderation for the entire community, regardless of specific forums. Through this approach, I can help strengthen the entire community and ensure a harmonious forum experience for all members.
Finally, I would like to emphasize that I am not only willing to take on the responsibility as a moderator, but also to contribute my enthusiasm for the various sectors of the forum to the community and actively promote them.
