I know I'm not one to speak, since I'm not so socially active, but fromw what I've read about tbstewa, he sure doesn't seem like a reliable person, and especially not a Moderator.

My vote is no.

so you base your not on the negativity others speak about me? how "go with the 'in crowd'" ish xD also have you not checked out my release of r56 fantasia... and as far as unreliability goes how can you say someone who is here several times a day is an unreliable person? O_o

Not only from what people said, but also from what you've posted and released. The whole release that made people's computers crash, and a couple reports of BSOD? Doesn't seem reliable to me.

My response

First of all I would like to thank you for applying, not all people have to guts to take the step and apply, it takes guts and courage, so I respect that! Unlike the other people who posted I will not only provide you a yes or a no, i will tell you why, and hopefully back everything up So lets get started.

Join Date;;
Okay so lets talk about your join date. You joined on: Jun 2009
That isn't even a year passed. Makes sure you gain respect in the forum, and make sure your in the forum/community long enough to understand how everything works, now i don't think 1 year is much at all, and that if you wait maybe another year, it will GREATLY increase your chances!

Posts;;
You have 306 posts. I think this is the BARE minimum of how much you need to apply for a mod, how ever it makes me look to what you are posting, and the quality of your posts, and what is the content. If you Take my advice for waiting longer, this post number will greatly increase, and also will increase your chances of getting accepted.

Thanks;;
You have 21 thanks, and 306 post... your thanks : post ration is 21 : 306 or .069, this is too low, that means you've gotten very little amount of thanks per post. This also implies the quality of your posts

Quality of posts;;
I have gone through ever single thread you have created, and not one of them seems very helpful at all. They are either very short, useless guides, or things you have posted that are outdated, and they haven't been used, or been center for any discussion. They are kinda useless.

Infractions;;
You passed, you have no infractions or any previous infractions.

Spam;;
Passed, you don't spam other threads or your own.

Account Level;;
Your account level is very low,
It is level 4 -- this accounts for all i have already talked about, join date, thanks, post, infractions. etc etc.. This means that you are fit to fully be responsible for a whole forum.

Application;;
Your application makes you seem very lazy indeed. It is short, there are no supporting information.. weak base, and not very well answered. It seems you spent maybe 10minutes writing your application out. You didn't do any formating to make it easier to read, and better to follow. It's a really lazy application.If you want to model a great example, my application is i think a really good one, it has both information, and formating...
LINK:

I hope you find my reasons as constructive criticism, not just criticism.. I don't want to make you feel bad. I just don't think your very ready to be a moderator.

Anyone else find it f'ed up that Dark Raccoon managed to ?

Time and time again, Dark Raccoon was able to work outside of the moderator rules and used that knowledge to prevent kevsprk from properly doing his job. That DLL leak was clearly a troll to demonstrate how powerless kevsprk was.

If he succeeded in anything, it is exposing the flaws in the moderator system of this forum.

Let the community stew without an active moderator for the time being. The "Report Post" button should suffice. While it is a hassle for the moderators who are busy taking care of their own forums to also police the Mabinogi forum, it is the best way to prevent Dark Raccoon from screwing you all again.

If exposing his lies and his keylogging conspiracy wasn't enough, I'm not sure exposing him as Kevin Rusch, the pedophile, is enough to keep him out of here. As he is still active on the hackforums site, we may not have seen the last of that trash. It would appear regardless of what legal proceedings are happening behind the scenes, he doesn't seem to care and continues with his nonsense. He seems to have a hunger for the e-penis and doesn't mind putting his family at risk so all of you can love him.

Let the other moderators handle the problems here, at least they won't rage out and wipe the forum while taking advantage of the ensuing chaos to spread keyloggers.
Thanks,

I applied for moderator back when I still posted here frequently and saw it as a good community. That all changed rather quickly after posting the application. By the time my mod application was accepted, I'd realized what trash this forum is. The mods, as you said, have no power. We can't remove leaked and stolen mods? Really? That in itself is fail. So, when I did actually do this (only because many, many people had asked me to), I got this PM from an admin titled "Complaint received". Guess what? The person that reported me (Wallpower) was later proven to be Dark Raccoon, the infamous mod before me. Ridiculous. From what the admin said, it was almost as if leaking was encouraged here!

Moving on from that, moderating this site has become a lost hope. (Main reason I left) The people here are complete and utter morons. They post here not for the general good of the community itself-- no, they do it for their own "benefit", (self-confidence maybe? If that's the reason, go see a doctor) trying to become popular in a community like this. Failure.

I tried to help- I did. I put a large amount of time trying to put together a high quality guide like my fireball one, but I see now that its gone to waste. No one posts anything they make; they seem content with stealing others and taking credit for it (even when its exposed as a leach).

Another thing: selling mods? This is just sad. Last time I checked, a modding or hacking community did it for the fun of it and to expose the game's weaknesses. They didn't sell mods and hacks.

Everyone I've watched "grow up" on this site were all enticed, at one point, into joining on of those infamous UG's (even if they'd not released a single mod themselves). I don't like the idea of a UG anyway. It seems the only purpose they serve is for bragging and saying something along the lines of "I IN UG I HAS BETTER MODSZZZ" (copyright 2009, Dark Raccoon), even when they had contributed nothing at all themselves, or at the very least shown a picture for proof.

And what is with viruses and keyloggers in this community? So many people automaticly assume everything that is posted (even DLL's! People used to only distrust exe's!) is a virus. Much of the time, they don't even download it or try it themselves first. (I admit, long ago, I did get hit with a keylogger here, but I wasn't stupid about it.)

It is of my opinion that something big needs to be done. Either get two or three incredibly dedicated members (none are here, right now, that aren't either stupid or liers so that's out of the picture) or just close down the section for a few days and clean it out, remove the idiots, and "start it fresh". Only leaving the well written posts and topics.

tl;dr: :/ Well, I tried.

Hey, Although i see a lot of truth in your umm rant/paper?
I don't think that calling all mods out, and all of the members out like that is correct. I for example, have been trying to do all i can to achieve the best guides, the safest forums, and the cleanest. I've been doing all i can to assure that the people in my forums don't get viruses and receive any help they need. I don't want to sound like I have a huge ego.. because that's not it. there are a few member in my forum that really try to help others. I don't wear the moderator tag to make myself look powerful or anything like that.. I do it because i want this community to grow. I think assigning a proper moderator to the forum is necessary to "start it fresh" phase you are talking about

Oh, no, I'm not saying the whole forum is like this. Just the Mabinogi section.

I do find your reasons EXTREMELY helpful and i will take these into consideration. The only thing that i do not agree with was the outdated material in which you speak. The latest things i have released are for this patch of mabinogi and are therefore current. There are a few bugs in the source which i will have to revisit and work out, which is why i asked people for their crash reports so that i could iron out the issues in this revision of the patcher as well as add some other useful tools to it.
I also understand that my join date, post count, thanks count and others are not working in my favor as well as my extremely lax application, however I am a "get straight to the point" kind of man. I don't like to post a whole book just to answer a question in which can be answered in one to two sentences.
That being said I would again like to thank you for your advice in which i will take to heart. I applied mainly to take the workload off of a lot of you guys seeing as we no longer have a mod in our section. I have a LOT of potential items in which I will release when i get them 100% operational and will begin to help more people as much as I can. However I cannot help but press the report button when i see things being taken too far such as flaming or taking and using someones copyrighted material and using it as a base in which to harass someone and even after i reported this thread and requested a lock it did not happen, but several other somewhat useful threads were locked. We are losing a good member of our forums because she didn't want anyone to know that she was female and then someone took a picture that she owns the copyright to and removed it from a site that had her permission to use it and posted it here causing massive flames about her looks. I apologize for this rant but I feel it very much needed to be addressed.

I dont necessarily agree that all the people who post in the mabi section are as Kev describes but over all there is a lot of problems in the content that is there.

Here, I shall revise it to be lengthy. Take this into account before saying anything about my Post/Thank count. Our earlier Moderator DarkRaccoon had over 3,900 posts and 700 Thank counts, he used your flawed system of trusting "Active high post/thank" counting to his advantage to start a Keylogging conspiracy and is now banned and being prosecuted for programming malicious software, this is the exact reason we need more then one moderator in this section and cannot base just who we elect as...

Hey, I'm Kevsprk, and I would like to run for moderator in the Mabinogi section. I started looking at e*pvpers a few years ago, but never really posted much until the past month or two. I post in the Mabinogi section quite frequently now, and I see that it is starting to lose order from lack of moderation. DR worked at keeping order, but because of recent events has been banned. Some of the stickies are now getting outdated, and I wouldn't mind cleaning them up and updating them. I know...
