It's True that we've got 8 Moderators assigned in Silkroad online section(including me). The current Moderation state, as I can see from the last 2 weeks :

- 3 Mods, in a Holiday (including me!!... I'm just checking the site once or twice a day now)
- 1 Mod, spending his "Last Days..." as he says
- 1 Mod, Currently active (he knows himself)
- 3 Mod, I rarely see replying in our all 6 Sro sections!!

Is John_Dread suitable for the Job?
He is the most currently suitable one in our section. I was watching his replies for the last week. All full of patience and help specially with the new comers. He is my first Choice for our next Moderator if you ask me.

Do we need a new Mod now?
For the next two weeks, Yes.
After that, I won't leave anything for the other mods to do.

I will personally be Glad to Moderate with such a guy like you.

I'm currently in a holiday and just checking the site regularly a day, as I said above. The other Mod is mainly in our Sro private section which John is not interested in. I guess thats why he only sees one active Mod which is me. ^^

zuerst möchte ich mich für die Postings entschuldigen die eigentlich in einem Application-Post absolut nichts zu suchen haben!

Du weißt sicherlich das es momentan 8 eingetragene Moderatoren für die SRO-Section gibt und, leider Gottes, nur ein Bruchteil davon wirklich aktiv arbeitet.

Wir werden dies bzgl. auf jedenfall in naher Zukunft auf eine Lösung zusteuern.

Wenn du dennoch Interesse hast uns zu helfen schreibe mich doch bitte via PM an.

Es ist eine "Aufgabe" wo du auch Erfahrung im Umgang mit dem Board erlangen und deine nächste Bewerbung natürlich auch ein wenig damit "ausschmücken" kannst.

Hallo,
an dieser Stelle möchte ich mich für all die positiven Meinungen bedanken. Ich bin froh, dass einige Member mich für fähig halten die Position eines Moderators einzunehmen. Da, wenn ich richtig verstanden habe, momentan für die Sro-Section keine Moderatoren gesucht werden habe ich mich dazu entschlossen vyn´s Angebot anzunehmen und zunächst als "Forum-Guardian" in der Section tätig zu sein um dem Forum auf diese Weise zu helfen (denn wenn ich das nicht wollte hätte ich mich ja nicht beworben). Ich habe bemerkt, dass in der e*pvpers Staff-Besetzung in letzter Zeit Änderungen vorgehen, weshalb ich hier nur noch einmal betonen möchte, dass ich mich jederzeit als Moderator bereitstellen würde, falls unvorhergesehene Ereignisse eintreten sollten etc.
Ansonsten kann, wenn gewünscht, der Bewerbungsthread geschlossen werden, da ich falls ich vorhabe mich erneut zu bewerben ich selbstverständlich mit einer neuen Bewerbung bereitstehe.

here I want to thank you for all the positive comments. I´m very glad that some members think I´m able to fill the position of a moderator. Now that, if I´m correctly informed, no moderators are needed in the Sro-Section, I decided on accepting vyn´s offer and became "Forum-Guardian" in order to help the forum in that way at first. I noticed that lately there are some changes happening concerning the e*pvpers-staff. That´s why I want to point out that I´d always provide myself as a moderator if miscellaneous things would happen.
Besides this Applicationthread can be closed if designated because if I apply here again I of course will do that with a new application.

Es sind zwar 8 Members in der SRO-Section, welche wie ich aus dem Thread entnommen habe, die meisten davon innaktiv sind.
Ist schon verständlich das man nicht ewig an nem Spiel "kleben" bleibt und das diese durch aktive Spieler ersetzt werden sollten.
Ich fand die Bewerbung im Allgemeinen sehr gut und vorbildlich, zum einen weil du dich klar ausgedrückt hast und dich nicht provozieren gelassen hast ,etwas Zeit in deine Bewerbung investiert und diese für die Englischen Mitglieder zugänglich gemacht hast.

Hallo,
um meinem Bewerbungsthread einen angemessenen Abschluss meinerseits zu geben, möchte ich eine Bitte oder viel mehr einen Verbesserungsvorschlag an die Forenleitung richten. Für mich persönlich hat es sich etwas merkwürdig angefühlt als ich zwar von Membern und Moderatoren Bewertungen und Urteile bekommen habe, jedoch nicht von der Leitung, also praktisch der Exekutiven, die ja letztendlich darüber entscheidet, ob man genommen wurde oder nicht. Im "richtigen Leben" bekommt man ja vom Arbeitgeber stets eine unmissverständliche Antwort zurück und zwar immer und bei jedem, nicht nur wenn man genommen wurde. Im Klartext heißt das ich schlage vor, dass ein Administrator jede Bewerbung durchliest und nachdem einige Bewertungen eingeflossen sind eine Entscheidung trifft. Wie sie getroffen wird ist nicht von Bedeutung. Danach sollte der Bewerber über die Entscheidung informiert und der Thread geschlossen werden. Ich weiß nicht ob damit die Leitung überfordert sein würde, aber ich denke, wenn man Membern anbietet Bewerbungen zu schreiben, gehört es auch dazu sie angemessen zu beantworten. Ich wiederhole: Das ist kein Vorwurf sondern ein Verbesserungsvorschlag! Sollte die Leitung der Meinung sein, dass sie all diesen Vorschlägen bereits nachkommt, bitte ich sie meine Entschuldigung anzunehmen.

in order to give my Applicationthread an adequate ending for my part, I want to adress a request or rather a suggestion for improvement to the administration. Personally speaking it felt strange when other members or moderators posted their appraisals and adjudgements but the administration (the executive authority), which decides whether you are chosen or not, did not. In "real life" the employer always sends you a unambiguous answer no matter if you are chosen or not. In plain language I suggest the administration to read every single application and after some appraisals are posted it can be decided whether the applicant is chosen or not. How it is chosen does not matter. After that the applicant should be informed about the decision and the thread can be closed. I dont know if that overburdens the administration, but I think if you offer the members to write applications, you have to answer them adequate. I repeat thats not an allegation its just a suggestion of improvement! If the administration holds, that it already satisfies the requirements, I ask to accept my deepest apologies.

War ja lange Zeit inaktiv im Silkroad Bereich und habe bemerkt das sich so einiges verändert hat. Eine veränderung war halt der Herr John_Dread, der ja auch hilft wo er kann.

Da ja sowieso nur kp, glaube 3 (oder 4?) Mods im SRO-Bereich aktiv sind, würde die Bewerbung doch gut kommen.

Ich hoffe für dich Lowfyr sagt ja.
