A QUIC proxy that sits between the Hytale client and a server, plus a launcher that
starts the game for you. Everything on top of it is a plugin: modules are separate
JARs you drop in and toggle in a settings window, no game files modified.
Fully open source under MPL 2.0 - every part of it, the proxy, the launcher and all
modules. Read it, build it yourself, or write your own module against the plugin SDK.
Modules
-
Core - the base every other module is built on. Required, install it first.
-
Minimap - live minimap HUD in the corner of the screen, with coordinates and compass.
-
Markers - full control over world map markers. Cache every marker the server ever
sent (survives reconnects), place your own markers the server never sees, hide anything
you don't want on the map, remember where players were last seen.
-
Xray - see through terrain, pick exactly which blocks stay visible. Night Vision included.
-
ESP - through-wall boxes for entities and blocks, with distance filters.
-
Camera Tweaks - freecam, third person with adjustable offset, follow-cam, and
first-person view from any entity.
-
Teleport - move anywhere, including teleport by clicking the world map.
-
Builder - place the block in hand under your feet across a radius, bridging sideways.
-
Blueprint - Litematica-style schematic preview: load a build and see it ghosted in world.
-
Client Control - change what your client believes about itself: game mode, permissions,
and other client-side flags.
-
Packet Dump - live packet log, for research and writing your own modules.
Installation
With the launcher (recommended)
1. Download `meridian-launcher-*.jar` and run it (Java 21+)
2. Sign in with your Hytale account - standard OAuth login, same as the official launcher
3. Pick your game folder and version
4. Open the Modules tab and install the modules you want
5. Tick "Use proxy" and press Play
The in-game server browser is routed through the proxy automatically, so you just pick
a server in game as usual. Direct connections typed by hand are not routed - use the
proxy window for those.
Proxy only (no launcher)
1. Download `meridian-proxy-*-all.jar`
2. Put module JARs into the `modules` folder next to it
3. Start the official Hytale launcher, sign in and press Play
4. Double-click the proxy jar and wait for the "Hytale game" indicator to turn green
5. Type the server address into "Remote" and press Connect
6. In the game, use Direct Connect to `localhost`
The proxy never creates its own session - Hytale allows one session per account, so it
reuses the one from the running game. That is why the game has to be started first.
Notes
- Java 21+ required. Windows, Linux and macOS.
- Nothing is written to the registry or your home folder - everything lives next to the jar.
