Dont get scammed - Newbies read this!

Hello everyone,

Many People are new on this Site and joining the Hearthstone Trading Section for selling a Key or trying to buy one.

Thats the Reason why im trying to make a little Introduction for you to prevent to get scammed from People.

I just want to help People and not getting mad when they have been scammed so everything i write here is just my Opinion and Experience which i made in about 5 Years now with helping People while trading here and on other Sites aswell.

English is not my Motherlanguage so excuse me for Spell Mistakes maybe

How can i see that a Person is trusted?

It`s nearly impossible to see if People are trusted on this Website, but there are a few Signs.

- They have a high Amount of Post`s [ More than 1000-2000 atleast ]

Watch out what time the People started joining this Site. Are they completly new or older Members and beeing on this Site for a long time already?
If they are new check there Post`s they made in the Past to get a little Opinion about the Person.

Never trade with People who joined the Site just a couple of Days of Weeks ago. Tell them you want to use a Mediator to take care of the Trade to prevent beeing scammed. They dont want to use a Mediator? They want to scamm you with a very high Chance!

- They have a high Amount of TBM - The Black Market [ More than 10-20 atleast ]

The Guy you want to trade with got a high Amount of Black Markets/Trades? That means he did a lot of Trades already if they are marked in green it means they have been successfull. If you see one or more in red be careful that means they havent been succesfull and mostly someone scammed.
Check his TBM Stats and the People he traded with. Sometimes you can easily see People with only 20 Post`s but already 10 successfull Trades = TBM
=> He had more Accounts and raised his TBM Stats. This Way People could think he is more trusted and they can give him Stuff.

- They have a high Amount of Mediations

People with a Amount of Mediations are always good to see. That means other People decided to use this Person for assisting a Trade.

For example :
User 1 wants to sell a Apple for 20 €
User 2 wants to buy a Apple for 20 €
Both dont want to give the Apple of Money to the other Person first so they decide to use a Mediator. This Mediator will receive the Apple and the Money and give it to each other.

If you see People with Mediations Stats you can see that other People highly trusted them.

- They are verified and brought Elitegold already

Something you realised while reading my Introduction?
Nearly noone who wants to buy something in this Section or sell something got any of this Criterion achieved.

So dont try to gamble with a 90% Chance to get scammed and use a Middleman if you want to trade something.

People offering Middleman Service can be found here :


Open a new Topic there and post what you want to trade with someone and post a Link to the Trade Topic. Wait till a Middleman is going to contact you.
Otherwise search for a Middleman there.

For example look at this Guy beeing a Middleman

Chance that he is going to scamm EXACTLY you after nearly 400 successfull Trades is really rare.

Still remember People this is just a little Introduction & Tip.

It wont prevend for 100% that you wont get scammed just take care which People you use for trading and try to use a Middleman.

Wozu einen Middleman benutzen wenn es um einen Hearthstone key geht? Er kann doch gar nicht prüfen ob der key stimmt. Soll er den key dann bei sich aktivieren oder was?

TeamViewer is the way to go
The Middleman will activate the Key for the Buyer and see if this one is really working. If it`s working the Money will be send from the Middleman to the Seller. Hope i was able to help you with that.
