What RAM

Afternoon all.

Quick Question. i have a i7 4960x extreme edition over clocked to 4.1 GHz. i'm looking to get some RAMs. Whats maximum speed supported by this processor?

so far, im thinking of Corsair CMD16GX3M2A1866C9 Dominator Platinum 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866 Mhz CL9 . Will this be the best i can have or can i get something better which is supported by my processor?

just get the cheapest ddr3 ram you can find, the clockspeeds of those do not matter at all in any realtime tasks.

What mainboard are you using. The maximum supported RAM depends on the mainboard. Some have 4 slots, some 8. So please tell us your mainboard and we can help you.
