How is this game in terms of hacking?

Hi folks, I come from Dayz SA section, a similar game. I'm curious about the hacking status of this game, might try it some time later.

1) Anticheat. How is it? In Dayz SA they've gone as far as deploying a rootkit to protect memory and steal hacks. Is there anything like this in H1Z1? How fast are they detecting public stuff? In Dayz SA it's usually a few hours. Also, when banning, do they go as far as using HWID?

2) Client-Server architecture. How much does server trust client? In the beginning of Dayz SA it was insane, cheaters could even easily spawn items in-game. It's a bit better now, but still far from being perfect.

3) How often do you meet other cheaters? In Dayz SA after the rootkit there were a lot less people cheating.

H1z1 has been trying to do what they can to prevent the hackers from running around. The antibot as far as I know is pretty ****. I believe they spectate actual BR's to catch cheaters; which is why people are so much more inclined to use them on survival servers.

I haven't really tried with any editing client wise to test the architecture. Rumors have it, Daybreak keeps a close eye on client edits and is strict about it - but I can't confirm.

Cheaters are ever so often, people are able to be reported if killed via a cheater so people don't just openly use it. Most often they'll use it to get into your base and steal your ****/blow up your cars without notice.

most of nowadays banning on h1z1 happens manually.
They have game admins on the higher demand survival servers.
They will spectate people who report their kills. If one reports you the won't but when 2 or more do they will spectate you. You do anything that looks anything like cheating and they will ban you openly with a server message prenouning your name and reason why.

Do you mean editing game files or memory manipulation?

Is it a global ban from the entire game or just from the server?

If the main thing they do is manual bans and spectating it looks like anti-cheat fails so far. But I'm not going to jump into any solid conclusions till I try it myself.

Yes it is a global ban across the game. You can't login anymore after a ban on the same account.
You can take my solid conclusion that they are banning on reports and spectating afterwards. I'v found it out myself lol. Keep a low profile, don't go all mayhem and you're good.

Thanks for the information. Sounds good if they need to rely on spectating rather than anti-cheat software. Not being too obvious doesn't seem like a very hard task.

I have heard that once you get ban you get HWID ban so once u buy the game again you can't play, so i have stayed away from using hacks on H1Z1
