hit sprint right before you get near gypsy ettins to loose any that
are following you. Kill all the ettins then keep running east and go
through the gate to North Kryta, then go back through and kill all the
ettins that respawned. On average 2-4 purple armors per run and 1
gold.

rops are still good, u just have to be around the ascalon settlement area It has been nerfed a little but still brings good results.
