what I think is funny is that Harko has read this and does not even say anything... he doesn't offer an explenation for all these people being banned and cast out....

so here I will offer one. Harko only wants people around him who will do what harko wants or harko likes

Hm Harko himself is seems to be a nice person, he helped me alot while learning LUA, even when I was a small fish. But he has lost all the .. dunno how to say, not desire, but sth like this, when this stupid people started to sell requia on ebay.

I think maybe we made our peace? So, I would like to ask for permission to use requia. Strictly between the two of us. I don't want anyone else to know it is me.

Here I will give my reasons.

1) I am studying for the MCSD exams and don't have time to try to make one myself.
2) I respect the work involved, your level of knowledge, and would be happy to have the tool available to me.
3) I never wanted to get banned in the first place. Sometimes though my temper gets ahead of my brain and my tongue.
4) I want to be able to farm emblems for x-mas and autoit will never cut it....
5) I enjoy writing scripts for requia and sharing them. I can't lie it was fun.

So, I said things, you said things back. That is life especially if people are getting to be good friends and not just passers by. And, if this doesn't sit well with you, that's ok; I don't have any desire to argue with anyone.

As a note: Requia is free so noone can expect anything and I have to explain nothing. But I will give you an answer anyway. I had a lot to do in the end of 2006. I had to finish a few projects and I had to do a business trip to shanghai. So my time was and is very limited and I simply can't afford and invest the time and nerves to protect a hobby against little psychos who think they can do everything they want.

much like I cracked the others since I was banned from the forum... since I showed him how to make the integrated forum part of requia it is no biggie

I may crack the hash of an older version with the external patch, which is better than nothing. But I hate softice so much...

since the keyfile is encrypted with open source blowfish algorithm (which is readable in the FAQ), the encryption password is REQUIA or something like and first version up to 0.3.0 had nearly no crc checks in the keyfile this is not really an accomplishment.

Sorry to say it but the difficult part is not to change something, it is to change it the correct way. Fixing all data struct offsets, updating all 50+ offsets and main part updating the part how requia should use the gw code should be more difficult as reading the faq
