This is something i came up with after reading some post about merchants paying you more during the weekend....

What you do is this: Buy LOADS of (for example!!) red dyes, in the morning when nobody is on and prices are low.

Hold them all on a spare character slot for axample untill its weekend, and resell them with profit. im still testing this but might be an awsome idea to make money without even killing anything.

Keep in mind, im still testing this. so DON'T spend all your cash on matterial you try to make profit on cause it MIGHT NOT WORK. so wait untill I, or someone else, confirms this.

tell us your results please - for what u bought them - and for what u sold them? (red dye.. or whatever)

I haven't sold them yet, I'm going to wait til the weekend. But I bought them for around 200 and now I can sell them for around 200 (they cost 300 now) I bought them around 4 am my time(mountain time(GMT -7:00) Now to wait for the weekend when everyone is on

Oh and yes, I bought red dye.

its called supply and demand. you don't have to buy/sell from merchants. if you can do business right, the you can buy low and sell high from people. for instance, my friend made 155k from trading black dyes (I KNOW THATS A LOT!!). prices drop and rise, so he buys when they drop, sell when they rise. check the vendors for examples. sometimes vendor sells you black dye for up to 5.8k, and sometimes the vendor sells it to you for 4k. the reason vendors pay more during the weekend is because more people are online, which affects the supply&demand.

Same here. testing on two items.
Red dye: 204g bought price.
Steel ingots 214g bought price but only tried it this morning. might had too many people on... will have end results on sat. night.

Steel ingots bought for 169 from vendor, and i can sell them back for 204g during the night. just testing out how high it gets in the weekend might give some decent results guys

Thats a nice 35g profit for doing nothing... so just buy 100 and you have 3500 profit... dum die dum...

(edit: checked again and they went down to 164)

Also: 10 rolls of parchment bought at merchant for 651g... cn sell to players for 1000. or wait for the merchant and i can tell you the result in the weekend.

You can do the opposite thing with Ectoplasma. As USA has the favor quite often ectos often go for 3 k there. As Europe never has the favor ectos go for 15 k.
