Hello,
I noticed there's a gearcheck program to check people's gear and trait setups.
Is there a way you could track enemy cooldowns and skills they've used?
Perhaps by coding something that would visually "see" the skill through visual recognition and then track it that way?
Example: Person uses magnetic shield on engineer, software visually sees the skill and records it, displaying it in the track HUD you would have and it would also give correct cooldowns (basing off of either base cooldown or cooldowns adjusted by traits, like 20% off cooldown for example). It will have a timer in which its yellow at first, then when their skill is coming off of cooldown 5 seconds away, it turns bright red to indicate that they'll be able to have that skill available again.
I know in BDO the fishing bot did something sort of like this in terms of the visual recognition, it would match the visuals of the letters and type those letters in automatically for you and allow you to get the fish automatically.
In terms of needing to visually register the skill, I understand this would bring complications for skills being used while in stealth for example against mesmer, thief or any class with access to stealth.
Or on another end, it could also be that the skills are able to be read virtually from the memory? I'm not sure how all of this works but I'm curious.
If I could learn some aspects of it I could probably put it together myself but just thinking of ideas.
