Newbie - Help me with Memory editing / CE

Hi, i'm a newbie but please help me out here.
I can find alll the static values i want. However, these are just adresses. If i look at other people there findings, they always have some address with offsets. why is that?

Also i would like to know how they edit X.Y.Z coördinates. Because whatever address i try to write to. it doesn't have any effect.

I just need someone to explain how these things work. No need for code, just some short explenation would be awesome

This topic belongs to the Coders Den.

There are some tutorials about memory editing. If you still have questions, you might ask there.

Code C++ and find out what RAII and pointers are, then youll understand. This is nothing which can be explained easily and shortly to persons without programming experience IMO

Even the old one i used, which gets detected shortly after, but enough so i can search clients, cant find it either. I don't know if hackshield is hiding the client from it searching it or what. If it helps i usually run things as an...
