Hello does your folder and the gw2 shortcut needed to run the program look anything like this?



If so then right click on the Guild Wars 2 .exe and find the send to desktop as a shortcut option if you don't have that as an option then find the create as a shortcut and drag the new shortcut to your desktop

Mine has been renamed so don't worry if it doesn't look like your .exe



now with the new shortcut you just made right click and hit properties
find the command line that shows in red on my picture above it will look something like this "C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe"
at the end of that like hit spacebar then type -32 like this
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe" -32 once you did that hit apply and save then hit run it the program should run now if you did it correctly unless they managed to fix it since you reinstalled the game

also before I forget you need to make your Midnight.exe look like this or it will cause problems as well

hi Clanex, thanks for your help but it doesnt work.
My gw2.exe name is gw2-64.exe like yours in the first picture but i haven't a normal ''gw2.exe'' like you. If i do a shortcut of my .exe i can't put it into a 32bits.exe how ever i put a '' -32'' after it.
So if you know how do you have a shortcut without a 64bit noticed, tell me.

Read my comment on prev page. If you've new fresh install of GW2 on 64 bit system, then you have only one *.exe file now. You need a buddy to upload you 32 version of gw2.exe and bin folder (about 73 MB unarchived).

Only old installations have both *.exe files.

End of fairy stories.

32bit exe must have "-32" parameter.

For an example make a shortcut on desktop and in properties make these changes:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe" -32

Then you're able to use Midnight (which doesnt work now after latest update). Only ESP, strafe, etc.

The -32 option can only be used with the 32-bit client. It doesn’t actually mean run in 32-bit, it mean don’t switch to 64-bit. Download the 32-bit version of Gw2Setup.exe, then rename it to Gw2.exe and place it in your folder along side Gw2.dat/Gw2-64.exe. Create a shortcut with -32 bit added to it, and you should be all good.

So what happened is: As of yesterday GW2 will now detect what architecture you are running (64, 32 bit) and will start accordingly. Midnight only supports 32 bit right now though. Here's what you have to do:

1) Locate your GW2.exe (in your Guiild Wars 2 folder)

Rest should work. Midnight requires a 'bigger' update to deal with the 64 bit stuff and i dont have time for that right now so please be patient

Unfortunately this doesn't work and the client still launches in 64 bit.
