Best, possible character set-up?

What do you think is the best possible character set-up a player can have
within 1 month, with only the 3 default chars available on use, (probably a newly made account) with no hacks. no cash equipments except necklaces and a playtime schedule of only 3-4 hours a day?

- any low level set.

- any low lvl gauntlet
- +0 Rune

* as you can see in my progress all of my char have +0 necklace and +0 Rune i don't Upgrade it not because they are not usefull, its a waste of time (if i am playing in com shop) I only Upgrade this when these characters get stronger.

now my lass is within 60+ and his necklace is +9 and his Honor rune weapon helmet & armor are 10+

in my opinion it depends on your playing style. if your the trickster type, then you better stick with the ranged types. if you're the tanker type, then go with the melee ones.

in 3-4 hours a day i could say that you could level up to level 75 in just a week. that is if you already know about the game itself, and have created a new account just for the fun of it. but if you're a newbie and doesn't even know what QJ does then it's a really big problem.

if i'm the one who's going to play though, i'm going to use elesis as my starting character. i'm more of a soloist so going to dungeons with no cash items would be pretty hard for lire and arme. but if i'm with my friends i'll use lire since i'm really good at aiming. (hello to lire users here!)

i think i'll be unlocking more characters when i reach 30. at this time, leveling gets really really boring. i think i get bored at level 27. haha. just like the post made by the guardian i think i'll be wearing a popular falcon set that time. since it will be given through the default missions.

the next problem would be thinking of the next characters to acquire. i guess i'll stick with having ronan next. why? 'cause it's the easiest one to do imo and i'm an elesis user (at the start of gc). among all of the unlockable characters, ronan is the one closest with elesis' fighting style (i think?). for others, you may choose any character that you like the most. but hating a character doesn't mean that you can't master it.
ex. i hated the thief job of lass the very first time it was released. at that time it was really really hard to get and the worst of it all is that you can't die even once while doing the mission. (at that time the only cash item that i had was gc star) when i used lass in dungeon runs he sucked big time, and he was so weird in pvps too. but after a while i was able to get a hint in doing grabs and has been using it in pvps ever since. and now the thief class has been a formidable character in pvp. his skill tree is so strong that many people avoid them. (hello to lass users too! haha. what a biased post this is.)

when do i upgrade the necklaces and runes? at level 10* i start upgrading the brave runes up to 6. at level 36 i make a set of +9 holy runes. at level 60 i make my set of +9 honor runes. (that is if you have enough aging cores to waste.) about the necklace, if you know the lucky loop then you won't have any problems about it. when your account has gathered enough gems (let's say at least 50), you can upgrade them up to +9 without sweating at all.

*can't remember the level when you can equip level 6 brave runes

i can't imagine myself playing GC with no cash items at all. so i guess this is a very wild estimate. having a gc star, ellia shield, purchasing rewards set, etc. made me forget the feeling of being so helpless in dungeon runs.

in the end all i can say is this, playing gc by your own style is the best option that you have. you can listen to other people's advices about such things but the fate of your account rests on your hands. it's more fun discovering the game when one is so innocent. striving hard to get to the top will always be a grand chaser's goal. merry CHRISTmas everyone! Gotta look for that. It's just that, Im comparing people's playing styles and stuff just for my own curiosity. If you're saying that you could get a capped lvl char within a week, then there could be something else with that... I think.

that's been bothering me when I play this game lately..

about the capped level char, you can do that easily my maximizing your QJ and getting a lot of help from others. reaching level 75 isn't that hard now. unlike in S2.

don't worry about it. it just shows the level of education you've gone through. haha.

Level of education huh... haha. whatever you found out, just keep it to yourself. hehe.

He said using only the default 3 characters. So I'd say it would rely on preferance since the 3 characters reflect on the 3 types of gameply people like. Elesis is great if you like hack and slashing.

Unlocking Elesis' other jobs will give you more options. The most commonly used is the Savior. It has great movement in pvp using shadow step.

If you're a person who likes to sit back and pick off enemies from a distance go for Lire.

You can choose either to go for the Skill Tree lire or Arch Ranger <-- Best PvP lire jobs.
Lire has enough movement to get around and stay far away from enemies.

If you like Spamming skills go for Arme. Arme has alot of skill combos and timing is crucial for most. :P

You can either go for the Skill tree Arme or Battle Mage Arme. Both of them are excellent at spamming firebolts, skills and MP regeneration.

Item-wise you can hunt for Thanatos parts at Heroic Dungeons and Evilis weapons at Heroics and CoD. Honor Runes can be obtained from Ellia Bosses and drops from the Monsters in Heroics.

Never forget to go through Heroics every 1 and a half hour to get coins to get items from the Hero shop. Especially the Earring of Gnosis and the 2 cards.

Levelling the characters will be pretty hard but if you know your way around the dungeons then just finish up all the quests you get and go for PvP'ng. You can level through normal PvP'ng or go for the popular "Salitan" or You let me win this round and then I let you win the next round. Or you could dual client to get another account to boost your character through pvp'ng.

The best Cash investment you can make is the Necklaces. :P So yeah. That pretty much sums it up.

Hmmm ... Makin a new acc seems hard but heres what i do if i were in that situation
I would start out as arme ..
leveling her up and makin her BM faster can help you clear out
the rest of your dungeon runs alone ..

Lv 0 Arme ..

after 4 hours

Depends on how you manage dungeons ..
and if you have GC Club, QJ + Event EXP Ups + Items that provide exp up
do it with friends that has a high leveled character so u can lvl up faster

*with friends result and exp ups*
u can become lvl 30-35 within 4 hours
*without friends*
still depends on how you do ur dungeon runs
so ... its like lvl 25-30
*without Ups*
like the one without friends ~

* note : quest 2nd job if you have the money already*

after one day passed ... go for alchemist
ask another friend to help you get the fragments
so now ur like lvl 30+ killing monsters will be easy
in ruins of the silver knights within 4 hours ur half the quest

3rd day
finish up the quest .. after finishing it up... do Warlock quest
about 2 Days you can become warlock with the help of friends

4th - 5th Day
Do Warlock Quest

6th Day - 8th Day
*ASK TO HELP WITH HIIIIGHER LEVELED FRIENDS! A MUST* XD!
Do BM quest ...
after 2 days if lucky u'll become a BM

the rest do the regular quests and after weeks u'll be in lvl 60 ~
BM's can finish up the quests faster and can be a good help unlocking characters

Maybe there are people who are still able to use hacks in GCPH.

BTW, Are there other forums out there that also discuss stuff and hacks about Grand Chase (any region)?
