feathering? whats that for?

ummm maybe we are using different method.

i do this

1.outline your render with pen tool using paths
2.right click and click make selection
3.set 1pxl for feathering and hit ok
4.now i copy the selected render and put it on a new layer

1. outline the render with pen tool
2. go to paths and click the circle thingy, and press DELETE
3. copy and paste into the new layer...

mine is da most known way of doing it

Mine is kinda different.
1.Pen Tool the sides/Marquee tool.
2.after that...
if its pentool Make Selection then i feather it 2px then
select inverse and press delete :P
3. if marquee tool Skip make selection and go to feathering :3

feather is making the edges blury.
if you set it to 1px it blur a little.
the higher the feathers you set the more blurs it becomes.
.NAts im going to post some of my renders.
and btw im using Pentool. y? its becuz is not hazzle to use, especially making the edges clearly cut...
