sir choryu is there possibility that scripts can be edited SD+left side corner+the next portal is the boss but its still the same in EXP when u finish the dungeon run,,,i mean "the 1st stage then the nxt is boss??"is that possible script editors like u can do that???

i think, it is server sided for the hack on unlocking character and changing jobs..
i tried to change the quest for the jobs.. for example.. the quest for 2nd job (300 frags nd 10 medals).. i change its item requirments to (2 gems required).. just like the cash quest for unlocking character..


it appears that the quest is easily completed.. but when u claim the rewards for the quest, it say that "cannot be rewarded for the selected mission"(something like that)

also,, i tried to make the quest item droprate to 100%.. but it failed..

so its impossible to edit the missions.. (initmission.lua)
so i just giv up on that..
maybe other people can successfully create it sumday ^^

by the way, SD and fan_map can already make the quest easier though..

works but as of late you will not get any drops from killing boss monsters when they are placed in stages other than where they are supposed to be. this is for GCPH, btw

just to give you an idea on quest item hacks, the method of placing monsters on one map (limited to 15, afaik) should work as you will still get item drops except when they are boss monsters, as cited above. for example, you can move and lump all liches and dark mages in the first stage of the hell bridge map and immediately get lots of staves for your quest and escape / quit if you get none.

hey guys, just want to ask for help. I know how to unpack/repack .kom files..my problem is my work is already being detected. I know I need to make my edited files to have the same crc32 and file size as the orig. I already made some experiments but I failed to get the same crc32 and file size of the orig...can someone who is kind enough to teach me how to make the edited file the same with the source file..ty

may i ask how did you keep the crc and file size the same as the original after editing??

it seems like after i change the file size using 010 editor it changes the crc (this is after i change the crc values using crc editor)

i can't keep both of the crc and file size the same at the same time. one changes as i edit the other one.

hope you can give tips on how to do it... thanks!

UPDATE:

the KOM files will now becoming hard to extract..

they use a new way on compiling it...

the old KOM extractor/compressor will be useless

it has begun... GC KR uses the new technology on compressing and extracting KOM files

better look for a new KOM extractor/compressor

soon it will be applied on all GC version including GC PH
