Here's my suggestion, (This also how I started)

I first learned Visual Basic in school (well, its normal of course since it was part of my course). You really don't learn ANY form of hacking in school but you learn how to make programs and the basics. Hacking is something you just discover yourself. So that's it, we learned to make databases using VB(the most basic thing you could to with vb i think). then after an in depth studying on VB, we moved to the C languages(C, C#, C++ and Turbo C) then we moved to Perl, Java and Netbeans. There's more but those are pretty much the interesting stuff.

Learn the languages first one by one, practice by making simple programs to the more complicated ones. When you feel like you're confident now, then that's when you start learning about hacking. Not just game hacking, you must at least know the basics like Packet sniffing and stuff

You don't need to rush it because you wouldn't understand it at all unlless you go first with the basics.
