How to make a GC Blog using wordpress

Hey guys, today im going to teach you how to make a Grandchase Blog, all download links and websites are free.

Tools and websites you need:
gr84.info-FTP hosting website
Filezilla-Transfers wordpress files to website
Wordpress-files for your website
Download wordpress:

STEP 1:
Register and sign up for gr84.info. Note that your username is what your website shall be called EX:Username=GCBlogEX Websitename=GCBlogEX.gr84.info

Activate your account

STEP 2:
Download Wordpress By clicking the link above( view the category tools and websites)

When you are done download wordpress extract to desktop and open the folder. Look for wp-config-sample and open it up in notepad.

Now look for this:
// ** MySQL settings - You can get this info from your web host ** //
/** The name of the database for WordPress */
define('DB_NAME', 'database_name_here');

/** MySQL database username */
define('DB_USER', 'username_here');

/** MySQL database password */
define('DB_PASSWORD', 'password_here');

/** MySQL hostname */
define('DB_HOST', 'localhost');

When you have located it you will have to enter the appropriate things they ask you to add.

IMPORTANT!: For database name go to

(your login should be given to you in the email EX:great_891230) When there you will see on the left side your Account information, add your info to the text above, BUT YOU STILL DO NOT HAVE DATABASE USERNAME!

For Database name, in your gr84.info cpanel go to DATABASE MANAGEMENT and click MY SQL DATABASE, name your database anything b/c it will NOT be your website host name. When you are done Click create and you will have your database name.

SO, in the end it should look sort of like this:
/** The name of the database for WordPress */
define('DB_NAME', 'great_7341252_GCBlog');

/** MySQL database username */
define('DB_USER', 'great_7341252');

/** MySQL database password */
define('DB_PASSWORD', 'khang221');

/** MySQL hostname */
define('DB_HOST', 'sql106.gr84.info');

NOTE: Your DB_NAME, USER, PASS, and HOST will be diff from mines, view the Account information on the left side to find out what it is.
When you have completed all the steps click save.
THEN RENAME IT TO wp-config.

STEP 3

Almost done!!! Now all you have to do is simply open up filezilla.
Fill in the 3 things the ask you for.

For Host it will always be: ftp.gr84.info
For username it should be the same as your cpanel login
For password it should be the same as your cpanel login

Now on the right side click the folder called Htdocs.
The folder should only have 2-3 files in it, you will have to open up wordpress and select ALL of the files and paste all the files in htdocs.

Wait till everything is extracted, you will know when it is done when it says
Status: Directory listing successful

Minimize filezilla( DO NOT EXIT IT )
enter this, replace YourUsernamehere with your username, also note that it is the usernam you REGISTERED WITH not the 1 they give to you for cpanel login
yourusernamehere.gr84.info/wp-admin/install.php

EX: GCBlogEx.gr84.info/wp-admin/install.php
Then just fill in everything it asks you far and your done!!!

Well i am simply teaching you how to create a website using wordpress. Wordpress is used by using FTP, where you have to transfer the files to your website. Wordpress is mostly for blogging use but it is possible to make a website with it
