intro:
Abyss Knight; the Knight of Chaos. When you see one, hell will be there as well.
What is an Abyss Knight?
An Abyss Knight is Ronan's 4th Job. He possesses much power that will lead to Chaos and Disorder.
He wields a weapon known as the "Tryfing". It is a special sword but very dangerous. It amplifys the power of the weilder to the greatest, but at the cost of the wielder's life. Anyone who attempted to pick up the Blade of Chaos will ever regret it.
However, Ronan was given a special glove to prevent his death. The Blade has also given an amplification to the Gauntlet, which powers up his Magicial Abilities. This combo of a Blade and Magic would just lead to death to all of Ronan's Foes.
How to Aquire Abyss Knight!

To start the mission, you must be atleast a minimal of lvl 40 as well as having Aegis Knight in your possession.

20 Bone Fragments
15 Paradom Deaths
30 Skeleton Knight Deaths
5 Dark Anmon Horns
5 Black Fairy Queens Deaths
20 Armored Cats Deaths
90 Practice Journals
45 Battle Certifercates
Important Notes:
Everything is 100% Drop rate EXEPT the Bone Fragments. Cyclops's Hairs however, has to be aquired from finishing the dungeon in under 10 minutes.
Cyclops is in Kastulle Lower. Giant Stone Golem is in Kastulle Upper, and Dark Anmon appears in Battle for Bermesiah.
2nd part mission for Paradoms and Skeleton Knight kills has to be in Kastulle Upper. It cant be done in Forgotten City or Kastulle Lower.
Black Fairy Queen appears on the Left side in BfB.
The Armored Cats from Dark Anmon's Replacements will not count to the Mission. Since theres only 3 per run, that means you need to run BfB 7 times.
Practice Journals come from PvP Wins or Dungeon Clearances, like Amy Evidences. Spam Trail Forest for easy journals.
Battle Certifercates come from PvP Wins. Tag Mode will not count to the mission, so you cannot do an alternate PvP Win for another character (or Certifercates too).
DO NOT DELETE THE 2ND OR 3RD MISSION BY ACCIDENT AT ALL COSTS! YOU WILL HAVE TO SEND A 1:1 SUPPORT AND START ALL OVER!!
Abyss Basic Combos
Basic Combo: Z Z Z Z
Basically does a flurry strike onto the opponent.
Air Combo: While during Basic Combo, UP Z Z
During the Basic Combo, the Abyss Knight jumps into the air and uses a forceful attack.
Magic Combo: While during Basic Combo, DOWN Z
During the Basic Combo, the Abyss creates an orb onto the ground and then slams it. Great for MP Stealing!
Critical & Double Attacks: While during or after Basic Combo, LEFT LEFT or RIGHT RIGHT
During a Crit or Double, the Abyss slams the ground and then uses a forceful strike. This is also great for MP Stealing!
Dash Attack: LEFT LEFT or RIGHT RIGHT Z
The Abyss Knight uses a dash attack which is quite forceful push.
Dash Jump Attack: While during a Dash Attack, UP Z
Same thing as Air Combo instead its executed from a Dash.
Jump Magic Attack: During a jump, DOWN Z
The Abyss jumps and casts a flare to the ground. Seems to be exactly like a Psychic Force but does weaker damage.
Raising Thrust: While during a Dash, LEFT or RIGHT Z Z
The Abyss casts a sword from underneath the ground and then from his hand. Executed in the same manner of a Ranga Bolt.
Using the Vertical Sword is enough to be spammed as well as self-defense like Ranga Bolt.
Note: It has been discovered, that Raising Thrust can block certain Ranged Attacks, at the right timing from the Vertical Thrust.
Force Gather: UP Z
The Abyss gathers a force. Same thing as a gathering a Rune Flare exept without the use of a skill. You also should know that it doesnt amplify skill energy.
Mono Bolt: After Force Gather, Z LEFT or Z RIGHT
The Abyss shoots several beams from the Force Flare. Doesnt seem that powerful...
Dust Chip: After Force Gather, Z DOWN
The Abyss throws 3 bombs from the Force Flare. Used in a same manner as Booby Trap, but they arent the same thing; they explode after 5 seconds, they dont do much stunning, it isnt used by a skill, and they do a bit weaker damage. It can also be seen by your enemies too.
Abyss Skills
Shadow Stinger: Basically his combo but used as a skill. This attack is usually used to avoid death traps. Like Divine Slash, it can be linked, but it is more counterable.
Tip: Avoid using this in dungeons because it is weaker than Soul Wave and only 2 parts of it hit. This move in PvP is only best for escapes.
Rock Blaster: The Abyss Knight shoots several dangerous blasts from his hand. Getting caught would lead to major hurtage.
Note: This skill CANNOT be counted thanks to the lag.
Tornado Stinger: The Abyss Knight Casts a Thousand of Swords around him in Tornado Form. He then shoots them on to the opponent.
Tip: This is better used in PvP since this skill is quite widespread. This skill IS NOT counterable because it launches them into the air (though sometimes it may not but thats a really rare occourance)
Linking Tip: When you try to link this with other skills, it requires precisive timing. It is possible to Air Grab them though really difficult; Its much easier on cornered sections.
Soul Wave: The Abyss Knight uses a wave to repell the opponent but then pulls them back. This is mainly used to keep your enemys "off balanced".
Note: This skill doesnt seem to work properly in PvP because they "bounce" off the pull wave.
Abyss Storm: The Abyss casts a Storm infront of him. Anything caught would make flying bodies.
Tip: When your opponent wants to attempt an attack, you can trap them in the storm and a possible air-grab. However, Rock Blaster is more recommended and Abyss Storm is easily counterable.
Heaven's Guardian: The Strongest Skill of all. The Abyss summons a Valkryie, a Guardian Angel. It shoots the opponents infront of the Abyss.
Tip: Use this in dungeons since it does alot of damage there. In PvP, it wont work much since its not of a widespread attack, and its also Counterable.
Abyss Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths
Abyss Knight is extremely dangerous and his damage is chaos.
Abyss Knight is one of the strongest members out of all 4th jobs.
Abyss Knight can destroy ANYTHING and ANYONE who gets in his way.
All of his skills and attacks can devistate everything.
Abyss's Valkyrie can be enough to 1 hit ko most monsters.
Weaknesses
I cant think of anything...
Dungeon Tips
Abyss Knight uses alot of combos to destroy everything. If you see an Abyss Knight, be glad hes there to help you.
It is possible to do Infinite Combo by using the multi jabs or the Magic Orb.
Abyss has the "Otto" ability although it is extremely difficult to do unlike everyone else.
However, his 2 hit dash attack is easily spammable, which one would call as a "Modified Otto". Plus since it doesn't fall under a Curse effect, its best be used.
You can use your Magic Combo and your Crit & Double attacks to gain more MP than your other attacks; usually about a full bar. If a Muse used Rhapsody on you, then your MP recovery will be enough to gain all your Spiritual Energy in a matter of seconds.
You can use Dust Chip to stall against your foes, but it may not do enough.
Mono Bolt's Damage seems to work nicely.
NEVER use Shadow Stinger because it only strikes the 1st and last, making the whole attack useless... Even on Super Armors, Soul Wave is much better
Soul Wave Chains can prevent your enemy from landing on the ground, keeping them off balance (unless its Gaikoz, Elena, Kamiki, or Kaze'aze Lass since they can Teleport/Jump out of the Wave).
In addition, Soul Wave actually deals high damage rather than Shadow Stinger.
Abyss Storm can send flying bodies everywhere. It might not be good since it scatters.
Rock Blaster does nicely against groups and more effective than Abyss Storm.
NEVER use Tornado Stinger because it is extremely hard to aim and easily avoidable. Not to mention it deals crap damage.
If you fufill all your MP, then use Heaven's Guardian against a group or a boss. Its damage is off the charts (around like 2.5k or more).
PvP Tips
A skilled Abyss Knight is extremely fatal in PvP. Fighting one may lead to disasterous results.
Using your basic attacks are OK but lag can prevent that so its suggested to use better attacks.
Using Dust Chip is very good on Self-Defense. You can use it to build a barrior to protect yourself and your allies.
In Gorge of Oath, you can lay on a teleporter as a Trap or the lower right corner. You can also place it under the enemy's feet after his/her Skill/Grab/etc.
Mono Bolt is a very good tactic to link since its a close range attack, though Lag Delays can be a problem.
Shadow Stinger is a long skill, so you can use it to escape out of dangers such as Deep Impact. You can also link it as well even with other skills.
Overall damage is worthless, so i advise not using it.
Rock Blaster can be chaotic enough to rip apart your opponents. Getting someone in it can be tricky, but its eaiser if you use it against foes who are fighting each other.
Thanks to the Slight Lag, it prevents countering out of this attack. More useful, unlike Abyss Storm.
Tornado Stinger works very well against groups. Its also a very widespread attack, so its more useful than Heaven's Guardian. The aerial lock is vevy good for stunning too.
It is possible to Air Grab, but timing is extremely precise on both terms. Easier if you do this against flat surface along with a corner.
Soul Wave; This skill doesnt seem to work properly in PvP since they usually "Bounce" off the wave, messing up the pattern. If it does work well, then you can try to do a mid-air grab.
Abyss Storm can work out well with foes trying to attack you. It does weaker damage than Rock Blaster, but its good enough to stun them to get away.
Possible to Air Grab from this. You may also be warned that this skill is easily noticable and easily counterable.
Heaven's Guardian would never work in PvP. The damage isnt good enough and the damage isnt even widespread. Plus, people can easily counter out of it.

Shadow Stinger + Rock Blaster: Linking a Flurry Strike along with a Chaotic Blast. When using a Flurry Strike, you can choose to unleash a chaos blast to rip them apart.
Shadow Stinger + Abyss Storm + Mid-Air Grab: Linking a Flurry Strike along with a Tornado and then a Mid-Air Grab. When using a Flurry Strike, you can use a Tornado to lift your opponents. You can use a Mid-Air Grab or use the Tornado to stall them.
Soul Wave + Rock Blaster: Linking a Soul Wave with a Chaos Blast: While the enemy is in the air, you can use a chaos blast. It might be able to rip them apart too but the timing is presicive.
Rock Blaster + Soul Wave + Mid-Air Grab: You can use the Soul Wave and Rock Blaster Combo in a reverse pattern. The Soul Wave launches them into the air so you can grab them.
Soul Wave + Abyss Storm + Mid-Air Grab: Linking a Soul Wave with a Tornado. Its a good skill to repell them to the air so it can lead to a grab.
