after your first dungeon run, wait until you finish getting the exp and back to the dungeon room screen before pressing alt-tab or minimizing the game or answering messenger popups or whatever multi-tasking thing you're doing with your pc while playing gc to prevent it from closing. make sure that your game window is always active during that time. i believe they intentionally did this one to deter those running double clients
