music of their GC client, specially for those who are annoyed by
the korean lobby music, ok so here it goes.
1.)Download all the files:
Extractor
Kompact
and Python 2.6 in this thread:
2.Make a folder and extract KOM Extractor Kompact in it.
3. Install Python 2.6 and follow all the instructions to install
4.) Now that you have extracted the RAR archives and installed Python
you can now begin extracting.
5) First Copy The Latest Script.KOM from your GC folder, in the Stage folder,
Then paste it to where you extracted KOMExtractor
6.) Open KOM Extractor.BAT:
7.) You will see this message:
8.) Just simply type the name of the file you want to extract without
adding ".KOM" at the end
9.) After that, the files will extracted in your folder.
10.) Put all the files extracted(.STG and .LUA files) in a new folder:
11.) In the new folder where you transfered the extracted files,
find music.STG and open it with notepad:
12.) after opening it with notepad you will see this:
13.) In it, simply change the names of the tracks to the background
music you want played when playing GCPH.
for example change "Track A" to "Your background music HERE "
simple as that.
14.) Now close the edited file and click YES to save changes made
15.) Now in the folder where you extracted KOMExtractor:
Open Kompact.BAT
16.) Type the exact name of the folder where you put all the extracted files,
press enter, then type the name of the file you extracted, in this
case we extracted Script.KOM, so we just type in "Script".After that
press enter, then a message will appear "Criciando Arqiuvo", which
means the file is still being compiled, if it says "Arquivo Criciando",
then it has been compiled
And you now see your edited File in the folder
Now for the real part:
1.) First download CRCH2 in this thread:
2.) Make a folder named Original(Put the original Script.KOM here),
and make a folder named edited(put your edited Script.KOM Here)
3.) Now run the CRCh2 you just downloaded
4.) Click select
5.) Then select the folder "Original".
6.) Click examine and then copy the HEX digits, then paste it on the
Request CRC329(hex)
7.) Now click the select button again, and this time select the edited folder,
and click the edited "Script.KOM".
8.) Click "do it" below the "Request CRC32(hex)" panel
9.) Wait until this message appears:
10.) Then click yes then your done.
11.) Now patch your GC patcher wait for it to complete,
then paste the edited Script.KOM in the stage folder of GCPH.
Tada Finished!!!!
You will now hear a changed background music while playing!!!
