The reason why Zen in ToO is not dying it`s because you keep pressing X which is wrong.
You have to wait for the scene that Zen will kick the fanatics then press X and *poof*, Zen died.

sir there is a bug, when doing temple of origin the boss die but its body still remain and the quest won't finish..
