You're not alone comrades, I have absolutely no idea who any of these three is. To me they're: a female, a female, and a female. I must say sir noein did a wonderful job. But I personally think the questions should be harder, like something from an old game.
eg. Heroes of Might and Magic series: "What did Roland offer you when he was trying to pursuade you to join him?lol"

No, Framework installing is not only for Vista. It is required in XP as well.
Btw, you're already at Windows XP. You cannot run 'as' windows XP.
1st possibility on application error: You're missing NET Framework 3.5 (SP1 or not)
Solution: Google it and dl it from microsoft
2nd possibility on application error: You're missing Visual C++ 2008 SP1 redistributable package
Solution: Google it and dl it from microsoft. Make sure you don't download x64 when you're using 32-bit comp, and vice versa.
3rd possibility on application error: You're not running as administrator
Solution: Run as one.
That's all I can think of for now.
