The reason for the yellow lines, I think, is that it makes the monsters bigger so that you can hit them where ever you are at the stage. I noticed it when I compared Sir Craymel's and Sir Brian's work. Sir Craymel's script has no yellow lines, thus you need to hit them directly. As for Sir Brian's script, just hitting the yellow lines make the monsters die ^_^.
By the way, Sir Brian, when I do dungeons with some trusted friends, the game get's stuck upon the start of the game and on the boss room. I suggest that you make the Quest dialogs somewhat longer so that the host can press the x to make other party members move. ^_^
