I really would like to know if anyone has found a solution to the Windows 8.1 issue where the game closes when attempting to activate the hack.

I would really appreciate it :3
Before anyone mentions though:
I've already tried compatibility Windows XP, Vista, and 98 also I gave the program admin privilege and ran it as admin again on top of that.
(I have no antivirus installed except basic windows 8 one and I deactivated it)

This doesn't work on Window 8.1 and I doubt that it ever will. This is most likely because Miguel doesn't have a Windows 8.1 computer to make the program compatible for. Honestly, I don't think that the compatibility changing and running as an administrator ever worked for anyone.

As I have pointed out repeated to Windows 8 users someone DID post a solution which was to partition part of your HDD and install 7 onto it and when you want to play Grand chase to boot up using that OS if you wish to use the trainer.

The 1 hit K.O hack only works when I finish the first stage of the dungeon. Is there any way to make it work from the beginning of the dungeon, guys?

Yeah I read that post you put after I posted this and without a link to the post it was a worthless comment tbh, not to insult you.
But to clarify a little, the Disk in Windows 8 is pre-installed with a GPT Disk Partition, Windows 7 doesn't allow installation to a GPT disk partition, and unless that other user had a better solution then it would mean I have to force downgrade my laptop by cleaning out my entire HDD and then installing windows 7 as a base OS and then multi-boot installing Windows 8 into a Disk Partition of Windows 7. That's roughly about 6-8 hours of wait to be able to 1 hit monsters...

That's why I was asking for an easier solution but no genius masterminds seem to care about GC anymore.

I'm sorry this isn't working for you johne1, but its so easy to use google to find out how to partition windows 7 on your ****** windows 8 that I find it funny you can find that comment worthless. If you have the time to post a bullshit comment then you have the time to install windows 7 on your crappy laptop

Just so you know how to partition a HDD, and when you install Windows 7 you pick the newly made partition (Suggest you name it something so you know) and it'll appear in the "install location" as that name.

Welcome to a civilized conversation that didn't involve you in any way, now that you feel like you have said something worth my time can you leave the conversation? I'm sorry you think that my laptop is crap bc it has a newer installed OS than yours -_- I don't think it's my fault that as a college student I look for newer things to help with my computer engineering major do I? Also work on your anger issues, I clearly said I didn't mean to insult the other person so you coming to insult me is just trying to start another issue that's not relevant.

* I know how to partition my drive, that's completely easy and basic
* The link you gave me of the person's solution is completely different from a stock R15, the basic 15 brings three partitions as the man said,[C, D, and sometimes G or E].
My R15 Brings one partition which is setup as a GPT using the new EUFI Launch that attempts to combine with Legacy boot. That form of partition is incompatible with any other OS lower than Windows 8. This means when I partition that single drive, I will get another partition of GPT which makes it as null as the first for multi booting.

If you think you can find an easier solution please let me know, I'm always welcome to get help, but please avoid posting a solution involving wiping my entire drive because atm I have never bought a storage drive (Which is my mistake) to backup my 150gb of info. I'm also contacting Dell manufacturer to help me try and multi boot.

Of course you have to bypass Themida to run GC on Virtual machine:
-Install Virtual OS and Vmware Tools
-Locate in regedit:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Class/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-
BFC1-08002BE10318}/0000
-Erase the value in DriverDesc (NOT the DriverDesc itself).
-Shut down Virtual Machine, locate the folder you installed it
-Locate config file in it, open it with notepad and add:

cant open the file, extracted it tried to open but theres an error plus the file itself isnt look working, the file image dosnt look like exe file

I'll give this a try right now and see if I can manage to use it. Will update if it worked, hmm also can this work with virtual box? it looks cooler to me

Update; I hope you do check on this thread a bit, I can't find the config file for the VMWare, would like some help with that. Also in my regedit there's no DriverDesc source, only ClassDesc.

Last question, how can I share the files/folders with my VMWare

1. You need to know where you install the VM, get into that folder and there's a file type: Virtual Machine configuration
My case:C:\Virtual Machines\Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
2. To have to DriverDesc and Sharing feature, install VMware tool into the virtual machine. Once sucessfully installed, turn off VM, go to "Edit Virtual machine settings" > "Options" tab and you'll know the rest.
3. Yes Virtual Box looks cooler but is compact and exclusively programmed, makes it hard to play the "pretending to be a physical machine" game => Themida will detect it.
NOTE: install VMware tool BEFORE modifying the config file (with notepad).
