ah! The same error message as me. Ok this is what you have to do.
1. Reboot your computer
2. Go into BIOS and search for the setting "Virtualization" or something of that word. Skip to step 4 if you cannot find it.
3. Enable that and save and exit BIOS. Skip to step 6
4. Head over to this website
5. If your processor so happens to have Intel® Virtualization Technology checked, you can go over to VM workstation now.
6. Before finishing the creation of the 64 bit guest, head over to it and click on manage hardware.
7. Click on processor
8. Note that you need to have 2 processor for that and set it to automatic if it wasn't.
9. Run guest and hope that it works.
I wasn't really sure if this helps but this is what I saw or read over the net. Since my processor didn't support that Virtualization Technology, I am unable to post screenshots on that. So if it works, do let me know.
Also, you can head over to this website and download a program to check for the compatibility.
If yours support VT, the message of the program will indicate that.
