Here are the tools that will allow you guys to edit the .KOM files.

Status: Working on Windows XP/Vista/7 32-64 Bits and with Chaos Season files as of 26th April 2011

How to use the Extractor?

1. Open quickbms.exe

 Spoiler

2. It will ask you for a BMS plugin.

 Spoiler

Note: It's called "kom mode.bms" and you have it in the archive. This plugin allows you to extract only .KOM files.

3. After that select the file you want to extract.

4. Final step is to select the folder where the files will be extracted.

5. Done.

How to use the Kompiler?

1. Open Kompact.bat

 Spoiler

2. Type in the name of the folder where the files are decompressed.

Note: Make sure that the folder where the files are decompressed is in the same folder with the Kompactor.

3. Next type the name of the file you want to create without the .KOM extension.

4. Select the version 3.

The Kompiler works only if you install Python. Here are the links:




Note: If the Kompactor is not working with Python 3.2 please uninstall it and install Python 2.7.1 to fix it.

Important Update: If you extract a file with QuickBMS, edit it and then Kompact it back using the Kompactor, you wont be able to extract it again with QuickBMS. Thats why i added Brians~ Extractor that allows the files to be extracter after being kompacted with the Kompactor.

Note: The order is QuickBMS > Kompactor > Brians~ Extractor [Extractor2.rar]. Keep in mind that you can use Extractor2 only if the file has already been kompacted with the Kompactor.

Grand Chase Bypass

This program allows you to skip the Patcher and start the game from the GameGuard/X-Trap allowing you to use your modified files.

How to use the Bypasser?

 Spoiler

1. Download the Bypasser.

2. Extract it in your Grand Chase folder.

3. Open it.

4. Wait for the game to start.

5. Done.
