Well, timers would be server-sided, and it seems like from what I hear even if you group up with a different party if you've already run it once you can't for another 8 hours. Only thing would be some exploit, but I haven't heard anything about that.
How about switching channels, logging out, and logging in to channel 1? Might be the same thing as the daily reset exploit.
