I have played a fair amount of Heroes of Newerth. I have no idea what an "autopick script" does. If you could go into a bit more detail then I would really appreciate it.
The problem is that I first started playing Heroes of Newerth about 10 years ago and still have no idea what that is. My first guess is that an "autopick script" automatically picks up items off of the ground or automatically picks items to buy from the shop. That does not quite seem right though.
If an experienced Heroes of Newerth player has no idea what you are talking about then not very many other people will. I am not promising anything, but maybe I can point you in the right direction of an "autopick script", whatever that is.
EDIT: I realized that an "autopick script" might also be a program that automatically picks a specific hero at the start of a match.
EDIT2: The way that I would "autopick" is by using Ghost Mouse and Cheat Engine.
First, start a game of Heroes of Newerth in practice mode. Launch Ghost Mouse and tap the F9 key to begin recording the mouse movements. Quickly click on the hero that you want to select and then the confirm button in the bottom-right. Click the hero's portrait and then on the confirmation button. Try to do this as quickly as possible and once you are finished tap the F9 key again to finish recording. Then, launch Cheat Engine and attach it to the Ghost Mouse process. Use the built-in Cheat Engine speedhack to increase the speed at which Ghost Mouse replays the mouse movements. Lastly, join a multiplayer game of Heroes of Newerth and spam the key combination "CTRL + Q", hold down the control key and tap the Q key repeatedly, right before hero selection begins. Ghost Mouse should replay the mouse movements at a high speed which essentially works the same as an "autopick script".
This method might not pick a hero as quickly as an "autopick script" but it will pick a hero more quickly than a human opponent. Unless your opponent is using an "autopick script" then you should be good to go. Or, in other words, you will be able to pick a specific hero before your opponent does.
EDIT3: While the method involving Cheat Engine does work, there is a simpler method that may be more to your liking. This method involves editing the Ghost Mouse script file using Notepad.
