For those that are not familiar with the value of rare items, wake up cause a lot of money can be made. Here is one way using a paintings that I recently came up with that made me a whole bunch of dinero.
Periodically, the Bestine museum allows players to vote for which of 3 artists' works the museum should display (and offer for sale as painting schematics). This has been going on for over a year at least. These paintings can be made via the schematic and sold for a few hundred thousand right when they come out... most people know this.....here is where it gets GOOD!!
Not all servers have all the paintings. Read that again... not all servers have all the paintings! For instance server X lets call it Bloodfin for sake of this post does not have the Man-Cal eye paintings 1 or 2 so let say you make a toon on Bria, which has had the Man-Cal painting for a long time now and are very common. You buy 180 of these bad boys for little to nothing on Bria then do a server transfer with items to server X and sell what is now the rarest painting ever..as it has never existed till now. Of course you have to auction them slowly and use private contacts etc as to not flood the market to quickly but these have sold for 20mill each in a matter of minutes. The reason I use Bria is that the transfer is currently FREE!! I dont know how long it is free but if it is not than a transfer with items would cost ya 50.00 which may or may not be worth it to ya.
So there ya go... hundreds of mill right quick with little to no effort. Hurry and be the first on your server to see which painting has not come out then go and get it from bria or a server that has had it. Early bird gets the worm as it is cause once there is 180 out there they are not as rare.
