An old game I can't remember it's name

Graphics/art style: Very, VERY close to this :

Notable characters: A Kung-Fu master/ninja like young man in his 30s. Ranked ninja enemies , their ranks are determined by their color. I can only remember red green white and gray ninjas.

Notable gameplay mechanics: Main character could use a move much like Hadouken . Sidescroller , had a bit of platforming.

Other details: The game took place in a forest with those japanese style buildings. Those buildings had chinese lamps under their sideroofs which you could destroy and get power-ups.Also I remembered that the game had intense asian fight music.
