Hello everyone, I gathered a lot of knowledge about creating your own dma fw and I want to fully emulate a device (attributes, config space, ip blocks, pcie parameters, bar / memory mapping, power management and maybe some vendor specific features etc.). My question is which pcie device should I go for. What would you think are the least used ones. Afaik there are many real pcie devices that are prohibited from being used while playing some games because they have been emulated by other devs and got detected and are now automatically "banned".
I also ask myself how far can this go, will at some point all pcie devices be banned except for a gpu?
