Ok the game I'm hacking uses this really simple method to find cheaters, theres some kindof spyware bundled in the game that scans your computer processes/application names for certain things.. like cheatengine, I was banned from this game for, quote, 'using cheatengine tons of times', I'm almost positive they just knew that cheatengine was open, not that it was editing their game, hey I couldve been using it for something else for all they know.
Its simple enough to change cheatengine.exe to firefox.exe
but the application name still shows up as Cheat Engine 5.4, how to change this? also is there any other ways they would know, like if it hooks into their game? I'm using a UCE, so would that do the trick? thanks so much
is probably the best idea. Although I highly doubt that's the only protection this game makes use of.
