Data - Crypter

Hey Guys i just wanna show you my Data - Crypter.

It was just part of some programmin practice.

Written in C++.

U can crypt any datas with it to a "crypted.txt".
U can use with doubleclick and typing in the data name (e.g.: text.txt) or just drag-and-drop the data over the TxTCrypter.exe and it will be crypted automatically.

The crypted.txt will be in the same dir like TxTCrypter.exe

That's a pretty big file for rot-13

I don't know what kind of feedback you expect exactly. If you wanted to know, if it is implemented correctly you should have provided the source with it, or at least said, that you implemented a simple rot-13 chiffre.

The encryption works, but trying to decrypt the crypted.txt itself ended for me with having an empty crypted.txt . You probably have some problems with your filehandles or something like that, i can't tell you exactly though, i am currently not in the mood to reverse engineer it

Sure it's just a (modified) ROT-13 cryption but 90% of the ppl here don't know that it is ROT-13 .

So i think it could be pretty usefull for some guys.

The only use in this would be the sourcecode to learn something, the fact, that the people don't know rot-13 doesn't make it useful for encryption
It's as effective as writing backward
I myself wrote once a crappy encryption while learning programming, it was still harder than rot-13, but i never encouraged anyone to use it, as i knew it was absolutely stupid, so shouldn't you, if anyone feels the need to encrypt something they should be pointed to more secure solutions

try to generate a key from each char and crypt the char with it

Already done at another programme. ;p

But this was a training for routine ROT-13.
